used machine
Dürr Ecoclean 79W KVI parts washer
The Dürr Ecoclean KVI system enables the cleaning of a wide variety
of workpieces, both in the injection/flood cleaning process and for a
limited period of time in the spraying process.
The KVI cleaning system is characterized by a modular design.
This means that a maximum of three systems can be connected in series
with this type of cleaning system.
The control as well as the data entry is done via the control panel of
the 1st module, the other two modules can be controlled from there.
The main advantage of this modular technology is that different
treatment media can be used and thus almost all surface treatments /
cleanings can be carried out.
Compared to conventional cleaning methods, the Dürr Ecolean KVI
system achieves very good cleaning results, especially for bulk
materials, workpieces with hollows, threaded holes, blind holes, etc.
Types of treatment
• Flood cleaning with washing medium The working chamber is flooded.
There is no pressure from the high-pressure pump. At the end of the
treatment period, the flood flap closes and the medium is pumped back
into the cleaning tank.
• Spraying with washing medium: With the help of a high-pressure
pump, washing medium is sprayed into the working chamber via the
nozzle system. The recirculation pump switches on with a time delay.
At the end of the treatment time, the high-pressure pump shuts down
and the medium is pumped back into the cleaning tank (limited
treatment time 30 s).
• Injection cleaning with washing medium The working chamber is
flooded with the cleaning medium. The high-pressure pump and the
recirculation pump are then switched on. The feed flap remains open.
At the end of the treatment period, the feed flap closes and the
high-pressure pump is switched off. The washing medium is pumped back
into the cleaning tank via the recirculation pump.
• Pre-drying: Before vacuum drying, the workpieces are pre-drying.
emptying the cavities filled with washing medium, such as blind holes.
The workpiece is blown off with air via a flat nozzle. The air supply
is provided by a side channel compressor that operates in
recirculating air mode. The intrinsic heat of the workpiece and the
warm walls of the working chamber support the drying process. The
moist air sucked in from the working chamber flows through the steam
condenser several times and is thus dehumidified.
• Vacuum drying In order to remove the residual moisture from the
workpieces, the system is equipped with a vacuum dryer. Once the
pre-drying process is complete, a vacuum pump creates a vacuum in the
working chamber.
In this process, the evaporation temperature of the adhering liquid
drops below the intrinsic temperature of the workpiece.
The liquid evaporates completely and is sucked out in the process. At
the end of the treatment period, the working chamber is ventilated and
the loading door is opened. The cleaned and dry workpiece can be
removed with the help of the hand trolley.

Batcher
The dosing system essentially consists of a dosing container, a dosing
pump and the dosing valve.
With the dosing system, both the bath preparation when refilling the
cleaning system and the subsequent dosing are carried out in
proportion to the fresh water. A minimum level switch in the dosing
tank warns by means of an on-screen display and warning light when the
container is almost empty. The empty container must then be filled
within an hour, otherwise the cleaning system will shut down.
Floor pan with leak warning probe
The bottom tray is dimensioned in such a way that, in the event of a
leak in the system, it can absorb the volume of the largest single
tank. As soon as the leak warning probe mounted in the bottom pan
responds, the main shut-off valve of the fresh water connection is
closed. A corresponding fault message is then sent to the control
panel (display).
